It's Christmas time again!

Put your problems on probation. Run your troubles off the track. Throw your worries out the window. Get the monkeys off your back. Silence all your inner critics. With your conscience make amends, and allow yourself some happiness It's Christmas time again! Call a truce with those who bother you. Let all the fighting cease, give your differences a breather and declare a time of peace. Don't let angry feelings taint the precious time you have to spend. And allow yourself some happiness. It's Christmas time again! Like some cool refreshing water. Or a gentle summer breeze. Like a fresh bouquet of flowers. Or the smell of autumn leaves. It's a banquet for the spirit, filled with Family, Food and Friends. So allow yourself some happiness
It's Christmas time again!

Today is a Gift!

Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

And Today? Today is a gift.

That's why we call it the Present.

A Brisk Morning Walk

A Brisk Morning Walk, allows you to be, all that you can be. It causes you to look at things in a way so differently. You observe much closer the smaller things that many times go unnoticed; the things that we would appreciate most, if only we took the motions. A brisk morning walk gets your heart and your soul up pumping. Your mind begins to clear of all the noise and mumbling. You get time to spend alone with yourself and your God that comes so scarcely. These are the times that you will cherish most, both in near and distant reverie. A brisk morning walk begins the day with a brighter can-do attitude. Even though you may be tired and grouchy, it can turn into an excellent mood. It’s hard to not stop and pat the head of a puppy, or say good morning to a stranger. Somehow it brings the “humanity” back and takes away some of the danger.

The parade will be Saturday November 13th. The pre-show festivities begin at 10am at the Landing fountains in the Town Square. Gigantic balloons like Frosty the Snowman Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and many more will be towering over head. I can't wait to attend!

Did you feel it this morning — the way the air was crisp and cool, not hot and humid? Or did you notice that the color of the leaves on the trees has really started to change? Or maybe you saw another large, V-shaped flock of Canadian geese flying overhead, off on its journey south. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a meteorologist to know what's going on. Fall is finally here.
